I don’t know if many people will remember my Great-Aunt Annie, who was the daughter of Ester P. and Loren J. Williams, who used to live in these parts until they died back in the 60’s. But, in case someone is alive that knew her or them, here is her death notice. If you want to know more about the memorial services that we are planning, post a message, or e-mail me.
Annie E. Diamond, (78)
Annie Elizabeth Diamond passed away into the hands of the Lord yesterday, at the George Washington University Hospital, after a long battle with cancer.
Born Annie E. Williams to Ester P. and Loren J. Williams, she married John H. Diamond, in 1951, and had two children with Mr. Diamond. The first child was a boy who they named Peter Diamond, after an uncle who they reside with. The second by was named Paul Diamond, after a nephew of theirs. The two boys were the most important thing in her life, and she was a devoted mother to both boys who survived her.
In addition to her children, she adopted a number of abused cats in her time, and was known to many as the “Cat Lady” of East Brunswick.
Services are incomplete, and will be forthcoming.
