The world has lost one great teacher when Jane Hall died. I found this orbit, and wanted to blog it for others to read. I know she grew up in this area, and spoke about it often.

Jane Samantha Hall, 69, and elementary school teacher and principal in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools for more the four decades, died of cancer yesterday at her home in Baltimore, Maryland.
She was born Jane Samantha Williams, to Kathy I. and Billy D. Williams. She graduated from Bowie State Teachers College and was married to Henry H. Hall. Always a pioneer, Hall was delegate to the American Expo on Child Abuse and Exploitation in 1987. She was a fierce advocate against Child Pornography and Child Abuse in America. Living at times in Baltimore, Glen Burnie, and Annapolis, she and her husband traveled the world.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Hal, one brother, Dr. Loren John willimas, of London England, her sister-in-law, Phillis Lear, of Annapolis, MD., and a nephew, Kenneth Smith, of Cheverly.
Funeral plans include a celebration of life to be held in June. Details will follow.
